Please read these Terms carefully before using the UPLIFTX platform. They set out your rights and responsibilities as a user.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the UPLIFTX platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, volunteers, and event organizers who access or use the Service. UPLIFTX reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the UPLIFTX platform. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. UPLIFTX reserves the right to terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activities that occur under your account • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same individual. UPLIFTX reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Volunteer Conduct
As a volunteer on the UPLIFTX platform, you agree to: • Show up on time and honour all gig commitments you accept • Behave professionally and respectfully toward event organisers, fellow volunteers, and attendees • Not misrepresent your skills, experience, or availability • Follow all instructions provided by event coordinators during gigs • Not use the platform for any illegal activity Failure to uphold these standards may result in a negative rating, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
5. Organiser Responsibilities
Event organisers who partner with UPLIFTX agree to: • Provide accurate and complete event information • Treat all volunteers with respect and dignity • Not use volunteers for activities outside the agreed scope of the gig • Ensure a safe working environment for all volunteers during the event • Not share volunteer contact information with unauthorised third parties UPLIFTX reserves the right to remove any organiser from the platform for violations of these standards.
6. Gig Applications and Commitments
When you apply for a gig and your application is approved, you are making a commitment to participate. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance where possible. Excessive or last-minute cancellations may result in reduced access to future gigs or account suspension. UPLIFTX does not guarantee that all applications will be accepted; selection is at the discretion of the event organiser.
7. Ratings and Reviews
UPLIFTX allows admins and organisers to rate volunteers after event completion. By using the platform, you agree to this rating system. Ratings must be honest and based on actual gig performance. UPLIFTX reserves the right to remove ratings that are abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms. Volunteer ratings are visible on their profile and may affect their priority access to future gigs.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the UPLIFTX platform — including but not limited to logos, design, text, graphics, and software — is the property of UPLIFTX and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without prior written permission from UPLIFTX.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The UPLIFTX platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that: • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free • Results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable • Any defects in the Service will be corrected You use the Service at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UPLIFTX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: • Your use of or inability to use the Service • Any errors or omissions in content • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data • Any conduct of third parties on the platform UPLIFTX's total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the Service in the preceding 12 months.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UPLIFTX, its team members, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: • Your use of the Service • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any third-party rights • Any content you submit to the platform
12. Termination
UPLIFTX may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at upliftx@gmail.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
